Terms of service (preliminary)

This is a preliminary text while the service is in early access. A lawyer-reviewed version will replace it before general availability.

1. The service is provided by EcuaCoreData, Guayaquil, Ecuador, on a best-effort basis. No availability guarantee is offered during early access.
2. You may not use the service for spam, cryptocurrency mining, phishing, attacks on third parties, or any activity illegal in Ecuador. We may suspend a server immediately in those cases.
3. You are responsible for the software and data on your server and for keeping your SSH keys safe.
4. Your data and any backups we make stay in Ecuador. We act as data processor for the content of your server and as controller for your account data.
5. When a server is deleted, its data is destroyed. Backups, once offered, are retained for the period shown at the time.
6. Prices are in US dollars plus IVA. An electronic invoice valid before the SRI is issued for every payment.
